Registration continues for the Encounter on abuse prevention in consecrated life
The Commission invites bishops, religious leaders and safeguarding specialists to take part in the three-day Encounter in Rome, from 9 to 11 December 2026. Registration remains open until the end of August.
More than 200 people had already signed up at the time of the announcement, mostly from Europe and Africa. The workshop format aims to draft a shared set of commitments to be presented to the Holy Father.
